The Quilt Divas are fiber artists who reside in the Finger Lakes region near Ithaca, NY.  They founded their group in 2001 as a satellite of the Tompkins County Quilters Guild but in 2005, with gratitude for its support, separated to expand membership beyond the guild. Members meet monthly for critiques, discussion, and exploration of new techniques.

Our work is as varied as our backgrounds in art, medicine, education, and the sciences.  Creations range from realistic to abstract and from 2-D and 3-D wall hangings to sculpture.  Each of us pursues a personal vision as she challenges and stretches the dimensions of fiber art by thoughtful or playful manipulation of skills and materials.

The Quilt Divas exhibit as a group and individually. Many of the Divas have become recognized by their contributions to the art world through competitive exhibits, television, online quilting shows, magazine articles and books. We have exhibited and competed nationally and internationally. We enjoy working with color and fiber and love to share that joy with others through lectures, workshops, and exhibits.
